Drills

The Hopkins

(Excerpt from the book Dry-Fire Training by Ben Stoeger)

This drill is unique to this book in several important ways.
First, the targets in this drill are not USPSA targets or miniature targets. They are thumb tacks or very small dots on your wall.
Next, the distances stipulated in this drill are not “simulated” distances like you see everywhere else in the book. These are actual distances. You need to stand 10 feet back from a 90 degree angle on a wall and you should be able to properly construct this drill.

Focus:
This drill is designed to help you learn to read your sights.

Goal:
Perform each drill within the time limit while meeting the accuracy standard.

Drill 1: Engage dots in the following order: 1, 6 , 2, 5, 3, 4  (5.5 Second Par Time)
